Adam Herman
Contact: adamjacobherman@mac.com
Hometown: Portland, Oregon
Undergraduate Studies: Trinity University (San Antonio, Texas)
Previous Industry: Real Estate Development
I've always tried to take a proactive approach in circumstances and at opportunities that allow me to create a better future for myself and those around me. GBA seemed to be one such opportunity for me as a Graduate student and one I was eager to jump at. The association provided a position and group of individuals that are responsible for maintaining and bettering the legacy of USF. We all have an idea of exactly what we'd like to leave USF with, and what we'd like to gain during our time here; I am excited at the chance to help create and mold a program that reaches out to those ideas and creates a better environment and experience for all students.

USF is at the heart of one of the best cities in the world. The MBA Program offers top-of-the-line education in a small class environment, where I am able to interact closely with professors who are active in their fields and can provide real-world applications, career advice, and network connections. Students, faculty, administration, and alumni are part of a close-knit community; we know everyoneÕs name and we look out for each other. The Entrepreneurship program is one of the best in the nation. Great emphasis is placed on getting involved and giving back to the community. I am part of the GBA, Marketing Club, Challenge for Charity, and Darfur Stoves Project. Ultimately, USF helps shape top business professionals and great citizens of the world.

Lacy Taylor

Undergraduate Studies: University of Colorado, Boulder
Favorite Job: Volunteer Activities
I knew from the first time I heard about the GBA that I wanted to be a part of it. I have always been actively involved in clubs, extracurriculars, and overall organizations, so it was a natural fit for me when I saw the that there was a VP of Clubs/Organizations. We have so many wonderful clubs in the MBA Program at USF and I am very grateful to be a part of that. My goals for this year is promoting the clubs and making them bigger and better. I also want to establish a synergy between them that will last long after my graduation. I am just happy that I will be able to make a difference here at USF through my contribution to the GBA.

Ken Christopher

Undergraduate Studies: University of San Diego, International Relations and Economics
Previous Industry: Agriculture (Garlic)
While I have enjoyed my time at USF, I felt that there was a void between the various cohorts, 1st and 2nd year full-time MBAs, and between full-time and part-time MBAs. I decided to run for Vice President of Marketing in order to ensure that future social events would better bring the respective groups together. The student body is best served, in both the social and professional world, when all the various group are more efficiently networked. Aside from my involvement in GBA, I am also an active member of Challenge for Charity (as a cohort representative) and USF MBA Ambassadors.
